CHERRY PICKING
Cherry picking start from end of may and on subsequent weekends.
You see them, you choose them and have fun picking them.
The Astino Orchard will open 9 a.m.-7 p.m.
Address: Via Astino, Bergamo – in front of the monastery.
Public parking for cars is at the beginning of Via Astino,
a short and beautiful walk will take you to the entrance of our orchard.
OUR OTHE ORCHARD, IN VALBREMBO, WILL NOT BE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC THIS YEAR, AS THE ENTIRE PRODUCE WILL BE DESTINED FOR PROCESSING JUICE AND JAMS.
Please note that harvesting continues until the ripe produce is exhausted.
There is no reservation service.
We recommend coming in the morning, also because the cherries are crisper 🙂 🙂
Orchard openings will then continue over the next three weekends always and only on Saturday and Sunday.
We remind you that the fixed cost for entry for all adults and children aged 10 and over who intend to collect is only 6 euros. This includes the cherries harvested until the 1.0 kg container, that is provided at the entrance, is full.
Each additional container will always have a fixed cost of 6 euros and you can take as many as you want.
Children under 8 years old will only pay for the cherries picked by weight.
For every two children under the age of 8, the purchase of a 1.0 kg container of cherries is required.
It will not be possible to consume the cherries inside the orchard but only to taste the product.
At the entrance to the orchard you will find our colorful stand with staff to welcome you.
